Veteran producer and mastering engineer Scott Anthony described his first foray into releasing his own music “like coughing up a cat that started walking around the room” (Cindy Stagoff, NJ Arts). With 40 years of experience working in studios with artists ranging from The Feelies, The Beastie Boys, Allen Ginsberg, Henry Rollins, The Cucumbers, Speed the Plough, his wife Rebecca Turner, and many others, he has amassed a discography of “some 600 or so albums, and at least as many demos.” Anthony’s debut single “I Don’t Like New Songs” is imbued with a cool wisdom and a masterful ear for the subtle, a sense of taste that can only be developed over the course of a legendary career.
